Cause For Paws

CAUSE FOR PAWS EVENT – FOR RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERS

All of us love our pets and want them to live long, healthy lives. Plan to spend Saturday, September 29th in Central Park at Town Center, re-establishing all you need to know about being a responsible pet owner. Cause for Paws is FREE and introduces a variety of free vet advice, education and lots of pet fun from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.:

  • Adoptions of dogs/cats
  • Low Cost Immunizations and microchipping by Flagler Humane Society
  • Rescue information
  • Trappers with wildlife advice
  • Flagler County Sheriff's K-9 Demo
  • Pet Parade –a march of all your favorite breeds
  • Children's activities
  • Battle of the Bands
  • Pet Obedient Training
  • Pet Licensing by City of Palm Coast Animal Control

Music and refreshments will be available for everyone, including Fido and Fluffy (leashed animals only, please!) Central Park is located one half mile north of Flagler Palm Coast High School at Bulldog Drive. Call 386-986-3763 for details.


For All Creatures Great and Small

Whether you own an Alaskan malamute, a Chihuahua, a kitten or a parrot; whether you are a new pet owner or you've taken care of animals forever: plan a trip to Central Park on Saturday, September 29th for the City's Second Cause for Paws event.

Cause for Paws gives everyone an opportunity to learn all aspects of responsible pet care. From 10am to 2pm, you'll have lots of fun gathering information and shopping at many unique pet related vendors, listening to music, enjoying refreshments. Bring Fido and Fluffy (leashed animals only, please) for sharing good times in the park with your favorite furry friend.

The day's agenda includes:

  • Dog Obedient Training sponsored by PetsMart at 10:30
  • Pet Parade at 11:30
  • Battle of the Bands sponsored by Pet Supermarket at 12:30
  • Low Cost Immunizations and micro chipping by Flagler Humane Society
  • Adoptions and Pet Rescues
  • Bounce House and a variety of kids activities
  • Animal Licensing by the City of Palm Coast Animal Control
  • Flagler County Sheriff K-9 Demonstrations
  • Palm Coast Fire Department's free framed photos with Ariel, our Dalmatian

Working together, we can all assure that our loving pets live long, healthy lives. Cause for Paws will help!! Central Park in Town Center is located at Bulldog Drive, ½ mile north of Flagler Palm Coast High School. See you there!


KEEPING OUR PETS BRIGHT-EYED AND BUSHY TAILED

Learn about low cost immunizations and micro chipping by the Flagler Humane Society, adoptions, spaying/neutering, dog obedient training , pet licensing and more. Come to the City of Palm Coast's Cause for Paws FREE event to have lots of fun while learning how to keep your pet healthy and safe. From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29th in Central Park at Town Center, you'll enjoy music, food, K-9 demonstrations and kids activities. Parking is also free. Leashed Fido and Fluffy are invited, too!
