Dear Community Leader/Organization:
The City of Palm Coast would like to invite your organization to participate in our annual "Holiday Starlight Parade". The parade will be held on Saturday, December 10th at 6 p.m. at Central Park at Palm Coast's Town Center.
Your participation in this parade brings a great deal of pride to everyone in the Palm Coast community. Parades such as this attract many thousands of people to the event and it is great exposure for participants. All participants are encouraged to add lighted holiday displays to their floats. The actual parade lineup will form at 2 p.m. with the parade event beginning at 6 p.m.
Space is limited! Don't be left out of the fun and excitement of celebrating with your community! Please complete the parade registration form and return it to the City by November 9th. We will provide you with your lineup number location by November 30th. Lineup positions will be assigned on a first-come, first served basis.
Once you have registered, your next step is to design your float that identifies your organization, plan your costumes and organize your marchers. There will be prizes awarded to the best of parade, best float, best marching unit and best decorated vehicle. The judging will take place at 5:00 p.m. prior to the start of the parade, so that the winners may proudly display their award!
Be part of the action, have lots of fun and enjoy this annual holiday festival in Central Park. As there is only one Santa and we've already confirmed that he will be riding in style on the City's Fire Engine, we request that you do not incorporate a Santa into your float.
Due to space constraints, we must ask that there be no multiple entries – meaning one vehicle per organization. Trailers can be no longer than 28 feet in length. For children's safety, please refrain from throwing candy from vehicles.
Please fill out the registration form and return it to the City of Palm Coast by November 9th. We look forward to seeing you there!

2011 Holiday Starlight Event
Join us prior to the parade for our annual Holiday Starlight Event. The festivities begin at noon and will end at the start of the parade. Performances from local dance teams and music groups to help get you in the holiday spirit! NEW this year is a giant Snow Globe where Santa will be housed for pictures. Pictures with Santa will start at noon and cost $8.00. Vendors will be on site selling your favorite holiday crafts and treats. For more information call 986-2323.
