CHIEF METEOROLOGIST JEFF DAY TO LEAD DISASTER PREPAREDNESS LINEUP
Central Florida News 13's Chief Meteorologist Jeff Day will let you know what to expect from his hurricane forecasts and potential destruction from massive storms at a FREE Disaster Preparedness Seminar on Monday, July 9th. Joining Jeff will be Palm Coast's Fire Chief Mike Beadle and Flagler County Emergency Management Chief Troy Harper who will both give you important tips to help you prepare and stay safe during all disasters. Sharon Treen from the University of Florida Extension Service in Flagler County will also share her expertise on food safety and storage.
The seminar will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE. A raffle will be held for free safety giveaway items. Advance registration is not necessary to attend.
