Help Save Lives In Your Neighborhood
If you'd like to step up and assist your neighbors during an emergency or in the event of a major disaster, the City needs your help.
History shows that when a disaster strikes, an area's Fire and Police Departments are quickly overwhelmed with calls. Palm Coast's Fire/Rescue Department's CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) program is looking for volunteers to train as immediate emergency responders. CERT teaches its members how to keep themselves and their families safe during an emergency. It also teaches them how to care for neighbors until professional personnel can arrive.
Residents in every part of Palm Coast are needed for this program because each individual knows and understands his/her own neighborhood best.
If you are interested in joining the CERT Team, you can download the application in this website section or go to www.palmcoastcert.com for more information. Applications will be accepted at the City's Main Fire Station #25 at 1250 Belle Terre Parkway (near the corner of Belle Terre and Royal Palms Parkways).
