The youngest candidate ever to be selected as a Palm Coast City Council Member, Jason DeLorenzo was elected in 2011 as the District #3 representative to the Council. He is also known throughout the community as the Government Affairs Director for the Flagler Homebuilders Association, working as an advocate for small business.

Prior to his government work, Jason performed in a variety of corporate positions in retail management in both the grocery and formalwear industries. Other accomplishments include serving on the Flagler County Soil and Water Conservation District and earning his Florida license as a mortgage broker. At one point in his life, Jason was interested in pursuing a career in aeronautical engineering, attending undergraduate classes at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Daytona State College in Daytona Beach.

Council Member DeLorenzo is a Washington Township/New Jersey native who moved to Florida in 1988. He has lived in Palm Coast for eight years and he and his wife, Rebecca, are blessed with a three-year old daughter, Lorelei.
